Ethnographic Museum

By 7 August, 2013 No Comments

In Ibiza we have a special place, the Ethnographic Museum, (open since 1994), where we can re-experience traditional rural life from inside the walls of a refurbished country house. This structure, known as Can Ros, is over three hundred years old.

This embodiment of yesteryear is located on Es Puig de Missa in Santa Eulalia. It recreates the tenor of life in a bygone age, housing many original household objects which tell their own story: a kitchen fully equipped with all its utensils, its bread oven and its hearth as well as farming tools, carts, presses,…

Upstairs we can view an exhibition of traditional dress, jewelry and instruments.
