Sant Miquel Church

By 26 February, 2013 No Comments

The village of Sant Miquel de Balansat sits under a small hill.  The town’s church, a 16th century fortified building with whitewashed walls, stands on top of the hill.

Like the Santa Eullàlia church, it is also known as Es Puig de Missa. Post-it: The church’s most interesting feature is that its two chapels are decorated with beautiful frescoes with floral and religious motifs, which were recently discovered and restored.
