A cookie is simply a file with an anonymous code that is downloaded to your computer when you visit certain websites. These small files allow a website, among other things, to store, record and retrieve information passively on the browsing habits of a user or of the user’s device at the website. This information affords knowledge of the place from which the site is accessed, the time of connection, the type of device (fixed or mobile) used to access the site, the operating system of that device, the browser, the pages most frequently visited and the number of clicks, among other Internet user behaviour data.
You may deactivate the cookies in your browser and delete them at any time. Nevertheless, you must know that although the website is accessible with no need for the cookies to be activated, their deactivation may hinder the correct functioning of the website.
