All this and much more is what you\u2019ll find in the <strong>north of Ibiza<\/strong>, the least exploited area of the island, where you can enjoy less crowded beaches, typical whitewashed-style villages and t<strong>he authentic essence of Ibiza<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--:--><!--more--><!--:en--><b><b><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/wp-includes\/js\/tinymce\/plugins\/wordpress\/img\/trans.gif\" alt=\"\" title=\"More...\" \/><\/b><\/b><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3982_iglesiasantmiquel1.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3982_iglesiasantmiquel1.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3982_iglesiasantmiquel\" height=\"380\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We start by the <strong>Port de Sant Miquel<\/strong>, located at just 3.5 kilometers from the village of Sant Miquel, famous for its beautiful <strong>15th century church<\/strong>. Puerto de San Miguel has a beach, many fishermen\u2019s huts and numerous restaurants, bars, shops and all kinds of amenities. It\u2019s an ideal place to practice water sports. You can also visit the <strong>cave Cova d\u2019en Mar\u00e7\u00e0<\/strong>, located on the cliffs, and where you can enjoy the stalactites, stalagmites and lakes inside the cave.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/cova_can_marc\u0327a_ibiza.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-1\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/cova_can_marc\u0327a_ibiza.jpg\" alt=\"cova_can_marc\u0327a_ibiza\" height=\"380\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you prefer a more quiet spot you can go to the <strong>little beach cove Cal\u00f3 des Multons<\/strong>, located on the left the Puerto de Sant Miquel. To access it you just have to follow a small trail which is well indicated. It\u2019s a smaller beach with sand and rocks. There\u2019s a nice beach bar with a wood decor with white and blue colors. In front there\u2019s<strong> Es Pas de s&#8217;Illa<\/strong>, another small little beach that leads to an islet called s&#8217;Illa den Bosc. It has clear waters, sand and gravel and there\u2019s a small beach bar.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/calomultons.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-2\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/calomultons.jpg\" alt=\"calomultons\" height=\"380\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Another highly recommended plan is to do a tour through the different <strong>villages in the interior of the island<\/strong>, still marked by a rural and agricultural environment. We take Sant Miquel as the starting point, a quiet village with its fortress-built church (one of the oldest of the island) and a landscape surrounded by pine trees and Mediterranean forest. From there we move on to <strong>Sant Mateu d\u00b4Aubarca<\/strong>, probably one of the villages that better conserves its essence. It only has a church and a few whitewashed houses and a couple of restaurants.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5570_santmateu_web.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-3\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5570_santmateu_web.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5570_santmateu_web\" height=\"380\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This town is famous for its wines, because in its greater area are <strong>the wineries of Sa Cova and Can Maym\u00f3<\/strong>. In winter the famous wine festival is held in Sant Mateu, where you can try for free the wines made \u200b\u200bin the traditional way elaborated by the families in this area<b>.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sant_mateu_ibiza.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-4\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sant_mateu_ibiza.jpg\" alt=\"sant_mateu_ibiza\" height=\"380\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">From there we go to <strong>Santa Agn\u00e8s de Corona<\/strong>, this village is commonly known by the name of Corona. Located in a great plain filled by tons of almond trees, this small town is very busy at the end of January when the flowering of these trees begins, which is a true spectacle of nature. The best way to enjoy it is by taking a walk around the area as well as visiting the cliffs, where there\u2019s a viewpoint where you can see the islets of Ses Margalides.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/almendros1_SDIM1423.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-5\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/almendros1_SDIM1423.jpg\" alt=\"almendros1_SDIM1423\" height=\"380\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Throughout the whole tour we can enjoy e<strong>xcellent cuisine<\/strong>. In the port of Sant Miquel we\u2019ll find restaurants where to eat paella and bullit de peix, for example at the famous R<strong>estaurante Port de Balanzat<\/strong>. Also, in Port de Sant Miquel you\u2019ll find Can Pascual, which offers combination platters, pizzas and gourmet sandwiches. In Cal\u00f3 des Multons you\u2019ll find <strong>beach bar Utopia<\/strong>, with easy dishes and its famous sardine barbecue. Also in the villages of Sant Mateu and Santa Agn\u00e8s you can eat very well. For example, in Sant Mateu you\u2019ll find <strong>Can Cires restaurant<\/strong>, which offers Mediterranean and international cuisine and has a beautiful terrace. And <strong>Es Camp Vell<\/strong>, specialized in meat dishes and many other home cooked dishes. In Santa Agn\u00e8s you can\u2019t miss out the famous Spanish omelette bar, <strong>Can Cosmi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<!--:--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dream beach coves, turquoise waters, pristine landscapes and mountains covered with pine and juniper trees.
