Today we are going to show you a very <strong>tempting plan:<\/strong> a day in our neighbor island Formentera. So, what do you think?&#8230; Crystal clear water, long thin sand beaches and incredible sunsets. <strong>Enjoy a full day in Formentera<\/strong>, sail its coasts, swim in its blue turquoise sea, take a walk along the white sand seashore or simply rent a bicycle and discover its secrets.<\/p>\n<p><!--:--><!--more--><!--:en--><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Formentera<\/strong> is one of those visits you can consider a must if you are spending a few days in Ibiza. Besides having <strong>the best beaches in the Mediterranean<\/strong> it keeps some secrets we\u2019ll try to reveal you here.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">From Ibiza town\u2019s port, you can take many different <strong>ferries<\/strong> that take you to <strong>Formentera\u2019s main port, La Savina<\/strong>. It\u2019s a very nice ferry ride, between islets and through the sea in which its seabed has the main Posidonia walls, which are part of<strong> the World Heritage<\/strong>. The ride will be no longer than 25 minutes. Once you arrive to Formentera, in the same port, there\u2019s a wide range offer of vehicle rentals. In a motorbike, car or even in a bicycle you can get to know this wonderful island.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The island of Formentera will let you enjoy a <strong>wide variety of beaches<\/strong>, from the most hidden and incredible ones to the beaches with more atmosphere and most visited. But all of them with a unique beauty, like <strong>Ses Salines<\/strong>, a natural reserve of flora and fauna. Or <strong>Ses Illetes beach<\/strong>, which is not easy to describe all of its beauty. An extensive unspoilt beach surrounded by seawater in both sides, <strong>white thin sand<\/strong> and where the sun shines very strongly. <strong>Cap de Barbar\u00eda<\/strong>, an attractive and with a wild look cliff with a charming lighthouse and the beautiful Mediterranean sea in the background. <strong>Playa de Migjorn<\/strong>, a beach with \u00a0clean crystal <strong>clear water<\/strong>, sand dunes, forested areas and some of the most <strong>lively beach bars <\/strong>&#8220;chiringuitos<strong>&#8220;<\/strong> in the island. <strong>Cala Saona<\/strong>, a very interesting beach, though not very big, its hidden location starting at the foot of a mountain between pinewoods and the incredible sunsets make it a very special beach. <strong>Es Cal\u00f3<\/strong>, a little fishermen\u2019s port with crystal clear water, white sand and dry-dock stalls. <strong>La Mola<\/strong>, a natural cliff with amazing sea views, where peace and silence will absorb you. And in the little village there\u2019s an interesting <strong>craft market<\/strong> every Wednesday and Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>And of course, in<strong> Formentera<\/strong> you can enjoy the <strong>best cuisine<\/strong> with local products, <strong>especially fish and seafood<\/strong>. Fabulous paellas and fish dishes. Some restaurants we recommend are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.esmolidesal.es\/es\/index.php\">Es Mol\u00ed de Sal<\/a> at Illetes beach, Peque\u00f1a Isla at La Mola, Can Rafalet at Es Cal\u00f3, Can Blaiet at La Mola, <strong>Juan y Andrea at Illetes<\/strong> or Sa Platgeta at Migjorn beach.
