It\u2019s the one with the fewest inhabitants, yet the most unspoilt forests and the largest<strong> rural landscapes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--:--><!--more--><!--:en--><br \/>\nYou can see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/blog\/ibizan-houses-pure-simplicity\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>typical rural farmhouses<\/strong><\/span><\/a> scattered throughout the fields, mountains crossed by rain streams and stone terraces. You can enjoy<strong> nature<\/strong> at its best as well as its wild <strong>seacoast<\/strong>, with incredible cliffs and <strong>magnificent beaches<\/strong>. The township consists of four parishes, <strong>Sant Joan<\/strong>, <strong>Sant Miquel<\/strong>, <strong>Sant Vicent<\/strong> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/places\/sant-llorenc-de-balafia\/\"><strong>Sant Lloren\u00e7<\/strong><\/a><\/span>. The most traditional and authentic villages on the island, in which Ibicencos coexists with residents that came from other places looking for the authentic rural Ibiza.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sienteibiza.com\/en\/discover-the-most-charming-villages-in-the-north-of-ibiza\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>In this township<\/strong><\/span><\/a> you can find part of the <strong>Natural Area of Special Interest<\/strong> (ANEI) called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/places\/es-amunts\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Es Amunts<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, an area of great ecological value, in which flora and fauna live in slightly different ecosystems and of great value for the <strong>island of Ibiza<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>There are also sites to do <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canplanells.com\/blog\/walking-tour-north-ibiza\/\"><strong>really nice excursions<\/strong><\/a>, like the Balanzat defense tower or the Portinatx one (towers built to control any kind of pirate invasion in the north of the island), or <strong>d\u2019En Mar\u00e7a caves<\/strong>, natural sea erosion caves, or the site of <strong>Es Culleram cave<\/strong>, natural cave surrounded by a pine forest and in which the most important oblect of Ibiza\u2019s history was found, the statue of <strong>Goddess Tanit<\/strong> (Goddess of love and fertility), along with hundreds of other ancient objects and statuettes.<\/p>\n<p>As we were saying, Sant Joan is the perfect place for those who like tranquil versus crowded areas, yet Ibiza is a touristic place and if you wish you can also find tourist spots, like <strong>Port de Sant Miquel<\/strong>, <strong>Portinatx<\/strong> or <strong>Cala Sant Vicent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Its seacoast is full of cliffs but where you will also find <strong>marvelous beaches and cove<\/strong>s. From the most hidden and quiet beaches to the ones with more atmosphere. <strong>Es Portitxol<\/strong>, <strong>Es Pas de s\u2019Illa<\/strong>, <strong>Cal\u00f3 d\u2019es Multons<\/strong>, <strong>Cala Benirr\u00e1s<\/strong>, the <strong>Portinatx beaches<\/strong> and over thirteen different suggestions.<\/p>\n<p>The best area for those who want to discover <strong>the most traditional and authentic Ibiza<\/strong>.<!--:--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sant Joan de Labritja is Ibiza island\u2019s northern most township.
