Summer is getting closer and there is no better summertime drink than a cool sangría. Very typical in our gastronomy it has become a very trendy beverage during the summertime in Ibiza. Made from wine, fruit slices and different liquors, its different combinations are very varied. In Ibiza you can find all kinds of sangrias, from the traditional red wine sangria, to sangrias made with cava, champagne, rosé cava, white wine, etc…

There’s nothing better than enjoying a nice and cold sangria on the beach, so we want to show you four beach bars and seaside restaurants where you can enjoy this delicious drink in a relaxing atmosphere.

If you’re looking for something a rustic and simple a good option is Can Pascual, located in Pas de s’Illa in Port de Sant Miquel. There you can enjoy a delicious “tinto de verano”. It is a rustic style beach bar with chill out and quiet atmosphere where they also serve simple but tasty dishes. It’s not a very busy spot, so you can spend a very quiet day. It’s located in the passage of land that links s’Illa des Bosc with Port de Sant Miquel.

Also, in the north of the island, in Benirras beach, you can enjoy a refreshing pink cava sangria. En Roca y Mar is a typical restaurant near the edge of the beach where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset and a relaxing ambience. Benirràs is a spectacular beach, dominated by a small island known as Cap Bernat. Surrounded by pine trees and lush vegetation, it has crystalline waters, and on Sundays the sunset is accompanied by the sounds of drums and a very bohemian atmosphere.

One of them is Tropicana Beach Club. Located in Cala Jondal beach, in the south of the island, a place that in recent years has become more than just a beach, thanks to the many beach clubs where you can also enjoy good music and lively atmosphere in the evenings. At Tropicana Beach Club you can order a delicious cava sangria while relaxing and enjoying the chill out music in one of their comfortable sunbeds. And on Sunday evenings there’s an additional attraction because Tropicana hosts the “Fiesta Tropical” with Caribbean and Brazilian rhythms.

At the legendary beach of Ses Salines you can also have cava sangria. Ses Salines is located right in the middle of a natural reserve. On the beach you’ll find Jockey Club Ibiza, a cosmopolitan restaurant where we can enjoy a chillin’ and relaxing atmosphere. A beach bar where premium quality prevails but that hasn’t lost its original beach bar essence, having a really nice wooden decor. An authentic and different place. A must.
